Welcome to the Newcastle Junior-6 team. My name is James Slade and I will be coaching the team along with Evan Roth and Joe Daniels. My Daughter is Stella Slade, an entering first grader at PS-276 (Battery Park).
Our first practice is next Tuesday, September 7th at the fields located on Murray Street and the West Side Highway. Our practice time is 6PM.
I believe we will have uniforms to distribute at that time. If your child cannot make practice we can arrange to get the uniform to them before the first game.
The first game will be on September 11th.
Please be sure that your child has their own shin guards and cleats- they are required for games and practices. Uniforms are required for games only and consist of socks, shorts and our team jersey.
I look forward to meeting all of the kids and the parents. We will have a fun season.
