FIELD: Full size BPC or Pier 40 field.

DURATION OF GAME: The game is to be divided into 2 halves of 30 minutes each with a 10 minute halftime.

BALL: No. 5.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: Maximum number of players per team on the field at any time is 11, including the goalie.

Maximum number of players on the team roster should not exceed 15.

PLAYER‘S EQUIPMENT:

1. Jersey & shorts - supplied b yDSL

2. Stockings - supplied by DSL

3. Soccer shoes (rubber cleats only) - supplied by player

4. Shin Guards (mandatory) - supplied by player

5. Athletic Supporter and mouth guard - supplied by player

A player may not wear anything which is dangerous to another player or to themselves (examples: baseball caps with brims, watches, etc.) Athletic protectors and pads are permitted.

REFEREES: Official referees supplied by DSL. Referees decisions during the game are final. Referees will verbally explain infractions called against the offending player. Any concerns with referees should be reported to the league; no questioning referee calls on the field during play.

THE START OF PLAY: Opponent must be six (6) yards from the center mark when place kick (kick-off) occurs. The ball is not in play until it travels the distance of its own circumference.

BALL IN AND OUT OF PLAY: The ball is out of play only when it has wholly crossed the goal or field boundary lines.

METHOD OF SCORING: The whole of the ball must cross the goal line between the goal posts and under the cross bar. Cannot be thrown, carried or intentionally propelled by hand or arm over the goal line.

OFF-SIDE: Penalty, change of possession. No player may receive a pass from a teammate when the player receiving the pass is past mid-field and beyond the last defender on the opposing team.

FOULS AND MISCONDUCT: All unintentional fouls will result in an INDIRECT FREE KICK (with the opponents six (6) yards away from ball). A goal may not be scored until the ball has been played or touched by a second player of either team. The referee will explain infraction to the offending player. Slide tackling is not permitted.

SERIOUS INTENTIONAL FOULS: Referee‘s discretion resulting in DIRECT FREE KICK (with the opponents six (6) yards away from ball).

PENALTY KICK: Discretion of referee. Tie games stand.

THROW IN: Foul throw results in change of possession.

GOAL KICK: Goal kick may be taken from any point inside the goal area. Opponents must be six (6) yards away from the ball.

CORNER KICK: May be taken from inside the corner area.
